Qing Ming Festival – also known as Tomb Sweeping Day - is the time of the year where we pay respect and honour our ancestors and the deceased. According to Buddha’s teachings, the greatest gift one can give to one's dead ancestors is to perform 'acts of merit' and to transfer these merits.
This coming Sunday, 24th March, @ 2p.m, we welcome everyone to join us for the Qing Ming Festival Transfer of Merit Ceremony, as the Sangha will be chanting the Abdhidhamma Chanting, and we could transfer our merits to our ancestors and departed loved ones during the chanting ritual.
Note: Participants may bring along a framed photograph* of the deceased. *size of photograph should not exceed 6R (15cm x 20cm). ... See MoreSee Less
