I, the donor, acknowledge that I may make donation to Dhammakaya Centre Singapore (“DCS”) via PayNow, credit card or GIRO.

Payment by PayNow

If I have chosen to make donation using PayNow, I understand, acknowledge and agree that:
PayNow is provided “as is” and “as available” by a third party service provider (“Service Provider”). My access and use of PayNow is at my own risk and is subject to the availability of the services by the Service Provider, the participating banks, and DCS. I accept that the PayNow service may not always be available, accessible, function or inter-operate with any network infrastructure, system or such other services as the relevant participating banks may offer from time to time.

My use of PayNow is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the participating banks and the Service Provider, including such transfer limits as may be stipulated, and I agree to comply with such terms and conditions.

DCS does not represent or warrant that the use of PayNow and/or the transactions made via PayNow will be successful, uninterrupted, complete, timely, secure, or free of any malware or error.

DCS shall under no circumstances be held responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever in connection with my use of PayNow for making payment, including any transaction being unsuccessful, late, incomplete or erroneous (including where the payment amount is not received by DCS or transferred to a recipient other than DCS), any unauthorised access and/or use of my personal computers or other access devices (including without limitation mobile phone, television and electronic wearables), the use in any manner and/or for any purpose whatsoever by any person at any time whatsoever and from time to time of any information or date relating to me and/or any recipient transmitted through my use of the PayNow service and/or obtained through my use of the PayNow service, any compromise to my computer information security (including but not limited to any computer virus, other malicious, destructive or corrupting code), and any delay, interruption, error, modification, suspension, termination or discontinuance of the PayNow service.

DCS reserves the right to determine the type of payments and transactions that can be made using PayNow at its sole discretion.

I will not use the PayNow service, including any PayNow QR code, for any improper purpose or in an improper manner, including but not limited to unauthorised or erroneous transactions or activities or for interring or attempting to interfere with the proper working of the PayNow service or of any system or network connected thereto.

DCS may share with me a PayNow QR code from time to time for the purposes of making payment using PayNow by scanning the PayNow QR code through my relevant mobile banking application within the time as specified by DCS. DCS shall treat any application and/or submission to pay using PayNow as withdrawn after the validity of the PayNow QR code has lapsed. I agree that I am solely responsible for specifying the payment amount and ensuring that DCS is the intended recipient of the payment amount prior to making the transfer from my designated bank account using PayNow.

My use of any PayNow QR code for the making of payments to DCS is at my own risk, and that I shall be solely responsible to the fullest extent allowed by law for verifying the actual receipt of the payment amount by DCS. I agree to comply with such directions as may be issued by DCS from time to time in connection with any PayNow QR code, or its use, which may include the replacement or substitution of any PayNow QR code previously issued or generated.

DCS shall under no circumstances be held responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever in connection with my use of (or inability to use) the PayNow QR code, any error in any PayNow QR code generated, any improper or unauthorised use of the PayNow QR code by me or any other person, and any failure on my part to take any precautions to ensure that the payment amount is correctly specified and/or DCS is the intended recipient of the payment amount.

 

Payment by credit card

If I have chosen to make payment by credit card, I understand, acknowledge and agree that:

The cardholder and I hereby authorise DCS and the issuer of the aforesaid card to charge the said card the one-time amount, and/or any such recurring amounts (as the case may be).
Any authorisation for recurring payments will continue to be in effect unless and until I notify DCS in writing to terminate it (including recurring payments made using a credit card of a consenting third party).

If I wish to change or terminate any authorisation for recurring payments by credit card, I agree to notify the card issuing bank and DCS before the change or termination, and that any change or termination may take effect only from [the next payment cycle]. DCS may terminate the recurring payment by credit card at any time in its discretion.

The credit card details provided by me for processing of payment are correct and accurate and that the card is lawfully owned by me or used by me with full authority/permission of the lawful owner. The information given by me for recurring payment by credit card will supersede all relevant information relating to me or the nominated credit card holder.

By providing the card details and instructing DCS to process my payment instructions, I confirm that I am fully and lawfully entitled to use such credit card for this transaction and that there is sufficient credit available on the card to enable my payment instructions to be processed inclusive of any applicable fees.

 

Payments by GIRO

If I have chosen to make donations by GIRO from a bank account, I understand, acknowledge and agree that:

I hereby authorise DCS to instruct the said bank to debit from the said bank account the one-time amount, and/or any such recurring amounts (as the case may be).
The authorisation for recurring payments will continue to be in effect unless and until I notify DCS in writing to terminate it (including recurring payments made using a bank account of a consenting third party).

If I wish to change or terminate any authorisation for recurring payments by GIRO, I agree to notify the said bank and DCS before the change or termination, and that any change or termination may take effect only from [the next payment cycle]. DCS may terminate the recurring payment by GIRO at any time in its discretion.

The bank account details provided by me for processing of payment are correct and accurate and that the bank account is lawfully owned by me or used by me with full authority/permission of the lawful owner. The information given by me for recurring payment by GIRO will supersede all relevant information relating to me or the nominated bank account holder.

By providing the bank account details and instructing DCS to process my payment instructions, I confirm that I am fully and lawfully entitled to use the monies in such bank account for this transaction and that there are sufficient deposits available in the bank account to enable my payment instructions to be processed inclusive of any applicable fees.

General

I hereby authorise, agree and consent to DCS to use and/or disclose any information collected and/or held (whether contained in this form or otherwise obtained) to its associated individuals/organisations and/or independent third parties, within or outside Singapore, with regard to any matters pertaining to this form including for the processing, reviewing, administering and any other purposes relating to my making of payments to DCS. I hereby specifically waive any right to bring a claim of any nature against DCS, its associated individuals/organisations and/or independent third parties, within or outside Singapore, in respect of any above-mentioned disclosure and/or any disclosure in the nature described above.

Should any payment by credit card, PayNow or GIRO not be successfully effected pursuant to this authorisation for any reason, DCS shall under no circumstances be held responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever.

I agree that I will fully indemnify, defend and hold DCS harmless against any loss, damage, liability, cost and expense (including legal costs) which DCS may reasonably incur or suffer as a result of or in connection with acting upon or processing of my payment instructions, or with my payment using PayNow.

I confirm that all information provided by me in using this portal is correct and complete to the best of my knowledge. I agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all the information provided by me in using this portal. I accept that DCS will process the payment on the basis of the information I have provided in using this portal and DCS is not obliged to verify that the information I have provided remains true and accurate at the time of processing the payment.

By electing to use this portal to make payment, I understand and accept that my use of this DCS online donation portal, including the payment arrangement by credit card, PayNow and GIRO, is at my own risk. I acknowledge and accept that DCS has taken all reasonable steps in conformity with prevailing standards to ensure security of information provided by me to process this payment. However, I acknowledge and accept that DCS neither gives any assurance or guarantee (whether express or implied) not accept any liability in relation to my use of the DCS online donation portal, including in the event that information provided by me is subject to unauthorized interception, hacking, or other unauthorized or malicious acts of third partied which may compromise the security of this portal. I accept that DCS shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, cost, and expense in facilitating my use of the DCS online donation portal to make payments.

DCS reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time and the current version will be that published on this portal or on DCS’ official website. DCS reserves the right to decline the acceptance of any payment instructions at its sole discretion and further reserves the right to withdraw the service at its discretion and without any prior notice.

Refund & Return Policy

We do not offer any refunds once we receive your donation. However, you have the option of selecting another offering item of the same offering amount. Please email finance@dhammakaya.sg and have the receipt or proof of donation to effect your request.
