Morning Chanting

The practice of chanting shares many benefits with the practice of sitting meditation. It can calm and focus the mind when performed in a skilled way, leading to confidence and happiness. Chanting properly will lead to purification of the mind and can thus qualify as one of the ten ways of generating merit.
